This BALM as Butter!! Luv'nder Calm Balm😊

Updated: Sep 20

So, what brought me to making body butters and balm? Well, I've been a nurse for 23 years and have seen my share of patients and coworkers suffer from body fatigue among other emotionally and physically distressing conditions to say the least. In addition, I've had my share of multiple surgeries leaving residual affects of occasional muscle aches and discomfort. For a change, I wanted to be on the side of helping others relieve stress. Stress management is underrated and an area that I've approached holistically. For this reason, I wanted the create a calm balm that evoked a spa like and relaxing experience. After several attempts and revisions, I've finally created a formula combining kombo butter in providing that desired relief. I'm excited to say that several have expressed how much this balm has benefited them. Needleesto say, I got a little too excited and have created a line of butters along the way! And honey, the rest was history! 😂

The use of kombo butter has been underrated compared to the popular use of shea butter. Kombo butter is a rich dark brown butter with a strong earthy scent from the seeds of Pycnanthus angolensis tree native to West Africa. It's rich in myristoleic acid, a fatty acid that can aid in muscle strain and discomfort. Combining kombo butter with an avocado carrier oil, lavender, cajeput, kunzea, rosemary, and peppermint essential oils, leaves not only a nice relaxing aroma, but offers a deeper penetration, quick absorption, hydration, and gentle for sensitive skin. Also makes for a bug repellent and soothes minor skin irritations.

I'm glad to introduce this hidden gem and look forward to seeing others benefit from its amazing properties. Don't sleep on this butter!
